Search for effects of multiple parton interations in production of
forward
jets

We intend to use PYTHIA generator to
investigate
effects of multiple parton interaction on various observables connceted
with production of forward jets in DIS at HERA

- PYTHIA 6.2 somewhat tuned to deep inelastic (but only moderate
success)
- run PYTHIA with hztool in 'gamma' mode for fixed x-Q^2 values
(i.e. fixed gamma-p energy needed for proper initialization of multiple
interaction option)
- effect of multiple interactions on forward pi0's and forward
jets checked
- conclusion : very small effect on forward pi0's
- significant effect on resolved contribution to forward jets
- plan: search for good observable to distingish forward jets from
m.i. from QCD-cascade forward jets
