Classical Mechanics and Special Relativity, FYTB03, 7.5 hp

The course is given the first period of each spring term.

Description

The Classical Physics part treats mechanics based on the principle of least action, with emphasis on symmetries and conservation laws. The special relativity part introduces basic relativistic principles and has some focus on relativistic kinematics.

The course constitutes 7.5 hp of a larger course, Fundamental Theoretical Physics (FYTA12).
