The course consists of: Techniques in structured programming. Elementary probability theory and statistics. Noise in astronomical data. Fitting models to data and assessment of the fit. Graphical display of data. Numerical solution of ordinary differential equations. Numerical evaluation of integrals. Analysis of real astronomical data.
